Indentec have introduced a package of hardness testers which cover all Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell, Vickers and Brinell scales from 200gf to 3000kgf. The offer includes:-
A PC, CCD camera, frame grabber and automatic indentation measurement software package is provided for all Vickers, Knoop, and Brinell impressions. This eliminates operator influence which is traditionally associated with these test methods. Measurement uncertainty and gauge R & R values are significantly reduced while impressions are measured instantly with a click of the mouse button. The PC is capable of storing all Vickers, Knoop and Brinell results, calculating average, range and standard deviation as well as Cp and Cpk indices. X-Bar& range charts as well as histograms are also provided as standard. In addition to the three bench mounted instruments, a HT 1000A portable hardness tester is included for testing components which are too large to fit onto the support anvil of a traditional bench mounted machine. Typical components would be castings, fabrications, forgings, etc. Each instrument, indenter and test block will be issued with a UKAS accredited calibration certificate compliant with the relevant ISO & ASTM standards. The total ex-works price for the complete package is £25,000. On site UKAS calibration is available and can be quoted for separately. |
