If your Vickers hardness testing requirements fall within the micro (> 1kgf) and macro (< 1kgf) then the Indentec ZHV30 low load Vickers instrument will be of interest. With 250 mm vertical and 150 mm horizontal day light it is ideally suited for testing a wide variety of samples. The unit is supplied as standard with a manual measuring microscope, motorised turret and x20 objective lens and a x10 eyepiece lens. Additional lenses with different magnifications can be supplied as required. Automatic indentation measurement is available with optional autofocus, motorised X-Y tables and automatic effective case depth software. If you need to eliminate uncertainty from Vickers testing, you should check out our CAMS system. This computer-aided innovation replaces operator judgement with a CCD camera for distinguishing impressions. Through mouse-driven software, the indentation is electronically projected onto a PC monitor and measured automatically eliminating operator influence and reducing gauge R+ R values. Available on all our Vickers machines, CAMS makes Vickers testing very easy and trouble free. Optional autofocus, motorized X-Y tables and automatic effective case depth software are available. Compliance to ISO 6507-2 and ASTM E92 and full traceability is assured as Indentec are an ISO 17025 UKAS accredited hardness calibration laboratory.
