Our Macro-Vickers hardness testers, designed for test loads between 1 and 50Kgf, include touchscreen models with alpha-numeric keypad, memory storage, SPC facilities, self-diagnosis and serial ports. All models can be upgraded and supplied with a low load Brinell option. If you need to eliminate uncertainty from Vickers testing, you should check out our CAMS system. This computer-aided innovation replaces operator judgement with a CCD camera for distinguishing impressions. Through mouse-driven software, the indentation is electronically projected onto a PC monitor and measured automatically eliminating operator influence and reducing gauge R+ R values. Available on all our Vickers machines, CAMS makes Vickers testing very easy and trouble free. Optional autofocus, motorized X-Y tables and automatic effective case depth software are available. Compliance to ISO 6507-2 and ASTM E92 and full traceability is assured as Indentec are an ISO 17025 UKAS accredited hardness calibration laboratory. |
